About Andy : I was born in Canton, Ohio March 20th 1978. I moved to Eatonton, Georgia at the age of two, and grew up in the home of a Preacher. I had a normal childhood until the age of twelve when my parents divorced, and my Dad moved back to Ohio. I lived with my Mom for a short time and then moved back to Ohio with my Dad when I was 13. He worked two jobs to make ends meet so I was on my own for the most part, in fact I skipped so much school I failed my eight grade year and got into some other trouble. I was heading down the wrong path, and at a very rapid rate.I had an older brother who was and still is the best youth pastor I have ever met, and he saw what was going on and asked me to move in with him. He and his wife had no kids at the time and boom they got a failing eight grader who had the wrong friends. However, he and his wife turned my life around. I was enrolled in a Christian School were things began to change for me, I began to play sports, and gain many new friends. I graduated from Massillon Christian School in 1997 and moved two days later back to the place I loved "Georgia". I went strait to the work force and began saving for my childhood friend and high school sweetheart to move down to Georgia as well. Long story short we were married about a year later. We began attending Sinclair Baptist Church and became very involved in the ministry. I was getting ready to become a deacon at the church when we had an area wide tent revival, that tent revival changed my life. I took a very good look at who I was and my relationship with Christ. I realized I went to church, was involved in church, liked going to church but had never repented for my sins and called on God to be in charge of my life. I was saved at about 8:20 on a Wednesday night in the Walter B. Williams parking lot under an old tent. Now here is where God really moved: By 12:00 that night God had called me into ministry "Youth Ministry" to be exact, everything I had been running from and hiding from my whole life God was now showing me and it was awesome. I went through counseling with our Pastor here Dr. Don Long and soon after accepted the call to Sinclair Baptist Church where I have been serving for the last six years. What is even more incredible is that the best is yet to come. I look forward to what God has for Becky and I and the Youth Ministry of Sinclair Baptist Church in the future. Remember "It's Worth it!"
